MOTION-MINING® OFFERS VERSATILE OPPORTUNITIES FOR INDUSTRY
Process analyses in the twinkling of an eye
Originally developed for the analysis of logistical processes, Motion-Mining® offers a wide range of possible applications in this field. Since 2017, MotionMiners GmbH has been advising customers worldwide on intralogistic work processes.
In addition to intralogistics, there are other areas of application in which Motion-Mining® can be used as a promising analysis tool. Especially in manufacturing companies, production processes account for the highest share of value creation. Accordingly, the adjustment screws and the achievable savings are large in this area. Since many processes in production are controlled by people, we have adapted the Motion-Mining® technology to the specific needs of production in close cooperation with industrial engineering from various industries.
How processes are organized at your site has a strong impact on the effectiveness and efficiency of all process participants. Motion-Mining® technology gives you the opportunity to digitally map the process events on site and identify optimization potential for your process flow. Whether in intralogistics, in production, in the automotive sector or in retail.

Customer Key Facts
Hermes
A holistic analysis of the movement of goods based on over 1,000 recorded data hours provided a detailed insight into the processes.
Significant savings potential was identified as part of a travel distance analysis.
Among other things, the analysis included the identification of unnecessary routes and the determination of digitization potential.

Joh.Clouth
A holistic analysis of logistics processes based on nearly 400 hours of data provides detailed insight into process details.
Administrative efforts of over 20% revealed a high potential for improvement in each process.
A change in the packaging process can potentially reduce waiting and handling times by almost 40.

Isabellenhütte
A holistic analysis of logistics processes based on nearly 640 hours of data provides the basis for warehouse replanning.
A waste rate in the high double-digit range, e.g. due to unnecessary walking distances within the picking process, underline the need for replanning.
By disclosing critical bending and carrying operations, important insights could be gained for the replanning of the storage of goods.

Blumenbecker
Based on 320 data hours, the average times per picking order could be divided into 12 sub-processes.
The preparation share is surprisingly high, at almost 20%. With appropriate organizational and systemic adjustments, this could potentially be eliminated completely.
By identifying further wastage, such as system-related waiting times or unnecessary walking distances, a reduction in throughput time of up to 40% could be envisaged.

Dachser
Based on the analysis of over 100,000 shipping units (NVEs), data from five transshipment warehouses could be compressed and the process times sharpened.
Broad employee acceptance is confirmed in over 1,800 analyzed data hours.
With the help of the Motion-Mining® technology, company-wide data can be collected on the one hand and location-specific knowledge, especially in the field of ergonomics, can be obtained on the other.

CUSTOMERS
From more than 327 recorded data hours, concrete, quantified weak points in the processes, unnecessary waiting and search times and suggestions for improving the ergonomic design of work processes and equipment were identified.

Dipl.-Ing. Joachim Bernard
Senior Manager Strategic Projects
Through our partner META, we were able to generate impressive optimisation potential in terms of efficiency and ergonomics with the start-up MotionMiners.

Sebastian Rustige
Strategische Leitung Zentrallogistik, B+M Blumenbecker GmbH
The journey analysis carried out by MotionMiners with over 1000 hours of data is an excellent basis for the optimisation and digitalisation of our warehouse processes. We also see a lot of potential for new projects in the future in the AI-supported process analysis by MotionMiners.

Christian Dahlmeier
Bereichsleiter Logistikplanung und Qualität, Hermes Einrichtungs Service GmbH & Co. KG
We are very satisfied with the work of MotionMiners. With their solutions, we succeeded in clearly visualising suspected process gaps and waste. Especially the applicability without connection to the existing IT structure has greatly simplified the implementation of the project for us.

Christian Fischhaber
Geschäftsführer, ASM Logistics GmbH
Together with MotionMiners, we were able to efficiently analyse our processes in a short time and use the results to target improvement processes. Thank you for the good cooperation.
