Originally designed for the analysis of logistic processes, Motion-Mining® offers a wide range of applications in this field. Since 2017 MotionMiners GmbH has been consulting customers worldwide in the field of intralogistic work processes.
Each project is accompanied by a team of experienced logistics experts who use Motion-Mining® technology to record and carefully analyze the processes. Based on the identified potentials, our experts develop individual measures and implementation priorities together with the customer. This not only points out ways to more efficient logistics processes, but also provides implementation plans that customers can then follow. The implementation of the optimization measures can also be accompanied by performance measurements by MotionMiners GmbH.

Hugo Boss
Eines der ersten Projekten im Bereich Logistik wurde im Auftrag der HUGO BOSS AG durchgeführt. Hierbei handelt es sich um den ersten Einsatz von Motion-Mining zur Prozessanalyse im Bereich Fashion-Logistik. Im Rahmen des gemeinsamen Projekts wurde der Einlagerungsprozess für den Endkundenversand in einem E-Commerce-Lager des Modeunternehmens untersucht.
Im Rahmen des Projekts wurden zwei Fragestellungen betrachtet: Zum einen wurden drei Einlagerwagen im Hinblick auf den anfallenden Handhabungsaufwand und bezüglich ergonomischer Aspekte miteinander verglichen. Zum anderen wurde auch der generelle Ablauf des systemgeführten Einlagerungsprozesses analysiert und bewertet. In beiden Fällen konnten für HUGO BOSS wertvolle Handlungsempfehlungen ermittelt werden.
Blumenbecker
Die Partner META und MotionMiners führten ein umfangreiches Kooperationsprojekt bei Blumenbecker durch. Dabei konnten nicht nur die Verantwortlichen, sondern auch die Betriebsräte sowie die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter vom Einsatz von Motion-Mining® überzeugt werden.
Dank des Projekts hat Blumenbecker eindrucksvolle Einblicke sowie einen sehr guten Leitfaden zur Optimierung ihrer Prozesse gewonnen, da nun vorher unerkannte Potenziale gehoben und die Effizienz um bis zu 40% gesteigert werden können. Ein echter Wettbewerbsvorteil.

From more than 327 recorded data hours, concrete, quantified weak points in the processes, unnecessary waiting and search times and suggestions for improving the ergonomic design of work processes and equipment were identified.
Through our partner META, we were able to generate impressive optimisation potential in terms of efficiency and ergonomics with the start-up MotionMiners.
The Motion-Mining® technology enables us as process consultants to offer new analysis options for process optimisation. In addition to the abundance and quality of the data, fischer Consulting was convinced by the possibility of using the data to make ergonomic assessments of workplaces and process systems.
The journey analysis carried out by MotionMiners with over 1000 hours of data is an excellent basis for the optimisation and digitalisation of our warehouse processes. We also see a lot of potential for new projects in the future in the AI-supported process analysis by MotionMiners.
We are very satisfied with the work of MotionMiners. With their solutions, we succeeded in clearly visualising suspected process gaps and waste. Especially the applicability without connection to the existing IT structure has greatly simplified the implementation of the project for us.

Through a project carried out with "MotionMiners" in our logistics division, we were able to collect internal data that would not have been possible without this methodology. Through the MotionMiners project in our ECOM logistics centre, weak points in the storage area could be identified and efficiency significantly increased. In the course of this, various order picking trolleys were compared in terms of ergonomics and the most ergonomically sensible order picking trolley was determined.
