Invitation to a network meeting for industrial engineers

We are delighted to invite you to this year's #FIED24 in Dortmund. After last year's success, in which over 150 participants from more than 90 different companies took part, we promise once again an inspiring event that takes a deep look into the world of industrial engineering.

To the agenda

Our highlights

  • More than 15 start-ups and speakers from industry and research present their innovations and latest findings
  • Keynotes and panel discussions offer insights into the future of the working world
  • The workshop format at Science Point shows how Motion-Mining® can be successfully implemented in research and teaching.

Invitation to a network meeting for industrial engineers

Transforming the workplace is an exciting opportunity for growth and development. Efficiency, ergonomics, sustainability, a high level of automation and AI-controlled processes are just a few of the keywords that define this change.
Where is the focus on people and where are they displaced? And is technology always a support or does it complicate the working world?

At #FIED24, we would like to answer these questions together with experts from logistics and production. We are discussing whether the high expectations at the workplace of the future can stand up to reality.

Clover Optimization GmbH
Through Clovers tour and load optimization, we help dispatchers make better decisions faster. The decision-making tools allow for higher utilization rates, shorter trips and faster and more flexible replanning. In addition to huge time and cost savings, this means less CO2 every day and more profitability.
enabl Technologies GmbH
Forklift remote automation with a material handling-as-a-service business model. Our platform connects a qualified operator to the vehicle in line with the customer use case. Our transport services can be booked around the clock and the customer only pays in accordance with the booked orders and can thus reduce their costs.
Evy Solutions GmbH
After more than ten years of research and development work, Evy Solutions GmbH was founded in June 2017. By combining our own artificial intelligence with natural language processing, we offer solutions for intelligent document analysis and processing for the complete automation of business processes.
INLAI
INLAI optimizes the planning of personnel and resource requirements in warehouse logistics: With the help of our own industrial AI, we predict how many people will be needed when and in which process areas. The system is provided as a cloud application.
SLAPStack
SlapStack is developing a revolutionary operating system for autonomous floor block warehouses based on driverless forklifts. It integrates all necessary software components, such as control and warehouse management, with a simulation that accurately simulates the real system.
MotionMiners GmbH
Motion-Mining® is changing the recording of manual work processes through innovative technologies for automated and anonymized measurement. Our wearables not only record movements, but also activity data, which enables a comprehensive analysis of processes in terms of efficiency and ergonomics.

Impressions from the last #Fied in 2023

That was the last Future of Industrial Engineering Day

Feedback from our participants from last year:

“Very good event! Addressing industry and research at a joint event is exciting, provides variety and enriches networking.”

“Balanced event. In my opinion, the topic of “digital twin” was tackled from several sides, so that I was able to take away a lot of inspiration.”

“Keep it up, thanks for the great event.”

“Overall excellent event in terms of content and atmosphere”
