With the new MotionMiners SOLUTIONS platform, Dortmund-based MotionMiners GmbH is expanding its product portfolio in the area of IIoT and industrial digitalization. The software's target group is process planners. With the help of the platform, they receive suggestions for solutions to their challenges and are linked with suitable providers. The platform will be presented exclusively at LogiMAT 2023 (Hall 8, Stand C25) in Stuttgart.
The countdown for the new digital process consulting from MotionMiners GmbH begins and counts the days until the release on April 17, 2023 of MotionMiners SOLUTIONS. Process managers or planners: inside, for example from the logistics sector, can use it to find suitable solution approaches for process inefficiencies such as "high effort due to goods collection" or "long routes without picks". The software is free of charge and can be used quickly because it is web-based and provides the necessary information in the shortest possible time without having to find it individually, e.g. by using search engines or by involving planning experts.

MotionMiners, founded in 2017, aims to provide the world's most flexible and comprehensive digital analytics toolbox for human activities. PwC Germany has been a lead investor in MotionMiners GmbH since February 2023.
The new platform is intended to provide process planners with a better structure for the range of possible solutions and help them select alternative solutions. Feldhorst emphasizes in this context: "With the digital platform MotionMiners SOLUTIONS, we connect solution seekers and solution providers from different parts of the industry. Matching is guided by the platform and also supports planners without years of experience. In this way, we create a digital gathering point for technical and organizational solutions that are suitable for different processes in production and logistics. We look forward to presenting the MotionMiners SOLUTIONS platform to interested process planners live in Stuttgart at LogiMAT2023 at our booth."
The new platform shows users various challenges at the start, such as "long distances" in order picking. The solutions displayed range from organizational measures such as "ABC zoning" to automation solutions such as a "cube storage system". In addition to a suitable presentation of the solution type, users also receive a brief explanation as well as information on which other challenges can be solved with this solution. In addition, ways to validate the suitability and cost-benefit ratio of a solution are shown. At the end of each "Solutions" page, users can view and compare product solutions from different vendors.
An important component of the new software is the large amount of product information provided by manufacturers, which can solve the challenges faced by process planners. On the so-called "offering pages", manufacturing companies have the opportunity to visually and factually present the products that match a solution. At the end of the digital consulting process, users are put in touch with the supplier who can provide a product solution for the challenge they have considered and validated.

The company now employs around 60 people at its location in the Dortmund Technology Center. The company aims to provide the world's most flexible and comprehensive analysis toolbox for human activities.
